About Kazakh-Russian Medical University

Kazakh-Russian Medical University (KRMU) was established in 1992 in Almaty by Dr. Mukhtar Aliyevich Aliyev, a member of the Academy of Sciences of Kazakhstan, as a private higher education institution. Since then, it has attracted international students, particularly from India, to its English-medium General Medicine programme. The university’s faculty includes more than 200 lecturers, many of whom are practising doctors and foreign scientists.
