How to prepare for NEET 2023?

NEET Exam is one of the most competitive entrance exams in India. This year's exam has been called 'the toughest exam of this century' by many experts. However, you don't have to be a genius just to score well in NEET. The best way to do it is to follow a smart study plan and practice daily.

Here are some simple strategies that will help you score high:

  • Obtain crucial and necessary knowledge: The first and most significant challenge in preparing for the NEET without coaching is to assemble all pertinent knowledge. Exam sessions, NEET exam format, and the NEET syllabus are just a few of the things that you need to be aware of beforehand. Be equipped with topic-wise weightage, important topics and study material resources.

  • Understand the NEET exam format: Gaining an understanding of the exam's question format will help you prepare more effectively for NEET. Understand the various question kinds, the weightage, and the type of questions asked in NEET to cope with it successfully.

  • Make a realistic timetable: Establishing and maintaining a study schedule is the next stage. There shouldn't be any extended, boring study sessions planned. Study sessions should be short with brief breaks instead. Candidates who are studying independently for the NEET must make sure that their normal study schedule contains all the required subjects, such as Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. Don’t allot equal time for all subjects.

  • Practice Questions: Students must strengthen concepts, take practice exams, and analyse their errors. You can join any test series to get feedback and find out where you lag. In addition, students can better understand the exam format by practicing with past year's question papers and practice exams. Many questions in NEET are directly asked from previous year papers.

  • On the day you learn something, review it: Make sure to go over all the newly prepared material after taking notes from a particular chapter of your textbook. Although it would seem like it would take a while, it doesn't. Reviewing can help with long-term retention of information and lessen future time pressure. Regular revision can help you transition from an average person to a topper. Frequent revision ensures that concepts or facts get retained in your memory for a long time.
