About Karaganda State Medical University

Karaganda State Medical University was established in 1950 and was transformed into the Karaganda State Medical Academy in 1997, later attaining full university status. In 2002, the university expanded with a pharmaceutical faculty, a faculty of eastern medicine, and a medical college.
